I am renting our a bedroom in my house in Downey California... I found a Male 22 years of age that seemed like the right candidate. I explained the rules and we made a verbal agreement that consisted of him signing the contract in the up-coming week. I also took a 600 dollar deposit to hold the room for him until then. I've been contacted numerous times in between this time frame from other interested clients but have refused theri interest since im holding a deposit and is pretty much rented out. Now this guy im holding the deposit for never showed up for signatures of the contract in writting and now he doesnt want the room and is demaninding a refund. I told him no.
